The Journal of Social Inclusion would like to inform you about a conference coming up in November called ChangeFest, the national celebration of place based social change. Please find more information on the link provided:


Publishing Your Place-Based Research - Workshop 90mins. Objectives: Will provide guidance to those who participate as to how they might work up their paper abstract or short paper for submission to a Special Issue of the Journal of Social Inclusion (JOSI) which is an internationally recognised on-line journal. Will also provide general advice about other publication
opportunities. Editors Introduction (5 mins) 5 x Paper Presentations (15 minutes incl Q&A) Summation and Next Steps (10 minutes). Facilitators: Dr Paul Harris and Dr Jenny Cartmel from the Editorial Team for the Journal of Social Inclusion, Griffith University. We invite potential participants to

August Issue: Social inclusion, and the power of being ‘seen’ and ‘heard’ in 2018, Vol 9(1) 2018


The Journal of Social Inclusion has just published its latest issue, Vol 9(1) 2018. We would like to invite you to view these articles and items of interest.

JoSI is a Griffith University open access, peer-reviewed publication which is published bi-annually. First established in 2010 and now publishing its 16th edition. The journal publishes a broad range of scholarly work from various disciplines, including, but not restricted to, human services and social work, ethics, sociology and social policy, psychology, education, criminology and criminal justice.
